We strive to create a fair and professional environment on Headlance. To protect users from fraud and bad actors, the platform has a moderation system that may result in temporary or permanent account blocking.

This article covers the main reasons for restrictions and how to restore access if rules were violated accidentally.


Types of blocks

Depending on the severity of the violation, the system may apply different measures:

  1. Temporary block (Shadow ban): Restriction on publishing new services, products, or responding to orders. Usually applied to investigate suspicious activity.

  2. Feature block: You can log into your account but lose the ability to withdraw funds or send files in the messenger.

  3. Full block (Permanent ban): Account is deactivated without the right to restore. All active orders are suspended, and funds are frozen until investigation by Arbitration.

Main reasons for restrictions

Headlance security team monitors compliance with community rules. The most common reasons for sanctions:

  • Bypassing the payment system: Attempting to share personal contacts (Telegram, phone, email) before creating a Safe Deal to pay outside the platform.

  • Fraud: Creating duplicate accounts (multi-accounting), using others' payment data, or selling others' work as your own (plagiarism).

  • Terms violation: Systematic missed deadlines, low quality results, or refusal to fulfill paid obligations.

  • Suspicious activity: Attempts to hack other profiles or use automated scripts (bots) for messenger spam.

  • Malware: Uploading files containing viruses or spyware in the digital products section or chats.

How to appeal a block

If you believe your account was blocked by mistake:

  1. Check your email: A notification with the reason for the block is always sent to the email linked to your account.

  2. Contact support: Write to the official support chat or email support@headlance.ru.

  3. Provide evidence: If the block is related to work quality or a conflict, prepare screenshots and files that will help the moderator understand the situation.

Appeal review typically takes 24 to 48 hours. If the violation is confirmed, the moderator's decision is final.
