The project was in development for three years,was postponed, was being refined behind the scenes—our team was handling several client projects at once, and as we gained experience, we modified the service. This is precisely why the project had not gone public in three years.

Looking back, I declare:it was a long journey. However, the track the project has now taken is the beginning of even moregreater path. We are certain: there will be many bugs, difficulties, and criticism. Nevertheless, the Teminence team (Teminence LLC) has no doubt about the necessity of a public launch and publicizing headlance (https://headlance.ru/about).

We took everything we loved about other services, and in some places, we were shamelessly inspired) In others, we reimagined and transformed them. Effort, love, and hope have been poured into this project, with the hope that the Russian market stillcan be changed, that we do not need to open an IT platform in other countries and that our Russian-thinking community will appreciate our efforts like no other in the world.

There are no plans to shut down the service; on the contrary, we are ready for any feedback and are firmly committed to clearing the project's technical debt. In 9 daysheadlancegrew to 166 users. Not an explosion, but real organic growth, and that's already nice.

While I managed to celebrate my birthday, the team continuedworkon the platform: fixed analytics, links, portfolio display, tag management, media uploads, previews, project ordering, and a bunch of minor bugs that usually go unnoticed but without which the product feels unpolished.

Separately, we started improving the portfolio module: now the works look neater, new ones rise to the top, tag tabs have appeared, and creation and editing have become more convenient. We also got totext formatting,fat,italicsand proper display of user content.

HeadlanceIt's still in Alpha. It breaks in some places, pleasantly surprises in others. But the main thing is it's alive: people are using it, testing it, writing about it, and we are paying down technical debt every day.

A week ago we launched into public Alpha. Today on the platform -100 real users.

Ads have been running via Yandex Direct (search and YAN) for three days. No, we are not chasing numbers for the sake of numbers. Right now, advertising is primarily a crash test: we need to understand how the platform holds up.real trafficand prepare for organic growth, whichwe hopeWe know what will happen.

In parallel, a minor update was dropped: improved group chat functionality and expanded internal monitoring.While updating, we managed to bring the platform down for a couple of minutes.. The reason is simple: a lack of capacity. That is why we are currently negotiating with a cloud service provider for long-term cooperation and a gradual expansion of infrastructure. We are growing, which means we need resources.

Exit toProduct Radarhas been postponed due to circumstances beyond our control. We are laying the groundwork and when the doors open,the platform will be ready.

Separately, regarding a frequent question: "why are your icons the same as on half of the small developers' websites?" It's simple: we wanttheir own. We have already decided on the visuals but haven't moved to direct implementation yet. We are looking for someone who will breathe their vision of product design into the project.
