arbitrator-access
When a dispute is opened, the platform arbitrator gains access to the information necessary for making a decision.
The arbitrator has access to:
- Order-related conversation between buyer and seller
- Files uploaded within the order
- Service or product description
- Order statuses and history
The arbitrator does not have access to:
- Other user conversations (unrelated to the order)
- Payment data (card numbers, bank details)
- Personal documents (KYC) unless relevant to the dispute
Arbitrator access to conversations is enabled by the server-side encryption architecture. Messages are decrypted on the server side, allowing the arbitrator to review the conversation history without any additional actions from the dispute parties.
