payment-and-renewal
Managing the financial side of your Headlance subscription (Plus and Pro plans) is fully automated. This article explains how payments work, how to link a bank card, and what happens when you change plans.
Linking a bank card
SaaS subscription payments on Headlance are processed through our secure payment partner — YooKassa.
To pay for a subscription and link your card:
Go to Settings → Subscription section.
Choose your plan (Plus or Pro) and click Subscribe.
You will be redirected to the secure YooKassa payment form.
Enter your card details (number, expiry, CVC) and confirm via SMS from your bank.
After successful payment, your card is automatically saved for future charges and the plan activates instantly.
Automatic renewal (recurring payments)
To ensure uninterrupted access, the platform uses auto-renewal.
Billing cycle: Charges occur exactly one month (or year, depending on your chosen interval) after the initial payment date.
Notifications: The platform sends advance notifications 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before the billing date via email and in-app notifications.
Changing your plan
You can change your plan at any time.
Upgrade (e.g. Plus to Pro): Activates immediately. You pay only the prorated difference for remaining days.
Downgrade (e.g. Pro to Plus/Base): Your current plan stays active until the end of the paid period, then switches automatically.
Payment issues
Sometimes automatic billing may fail. Common reasons:
Insufficient funds on the linked card.
Expired card.
Bank declined the transaction.
What happens? The system will automatically retry up to 3 times. Between retries, the subscription enters "Past Due" status but all plan features remain active. If all retries fail, the subscription expires and your account switches to the free Base plan.
To update your card, go to Subscription and make a payment with a new card.
