Headlance supports two methods of two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional account security.

Email 2FA

When logging into the platform, a 6-digit code is sent to your email. Enter it to confirm login. The code is valid for a limited time.

TOTP (authenticator app)

Use Google Authenticator, Authy, Yandex Key, or any TOTP-compatible app. During setup, scan the QR code, then enter the 6-digit code from the app to confirm.

Backup codes

When the first 2FA method is enabled, the system generates 10 backup codes. Save them in a secure place. Each code can be used once for login if the primary method is unavailable. Codes can be regenerated in security settings.

Enabling

Go to Settings — Security. Choose a method (email or TOTP) and follow the instructions. Both methods can be enabled simultaneously.
